Geotechnical Our staff offers its expertise in subsurface investigations of soil conditions, specialty foundation design and underpinning of existing structures
(Foundation Underpinning)This project involved the design and construction of a combined temporary support of a excavation system with permanent reinforced concrete foundations and foundation underpinning for a 150+ year old, three story, fieldstone barn, which was being renovated into a corporate trading facility. Our work also included a survey monitoring system to ensure NO settlement or movement of the structure took place during the construction process.

Provided survey, civil, geotechnical and structural engineering services for the replacement or 30,000 square feet of failed timber retaining walls with new reinforced segmental masonry unit walls. Site renovations in the disturbed areas and construction phasing were critical for this active apartment complex.
